Terms and Conditions for Masterclass

Subject to the conditions contained under these Terms and Conditions and as a part of the scope of services, Str8bat Sports Tech Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) offers the User an opportunity to get free access to exclusive courses and master classes available at http://masterclass.str8bat.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Masterclass Program”) in accordance with the terms and conditions specifically delineated herein.

DEFINITION

“Sensor” shall mean and refer to the proprietary cricket performance tracking device developed, marketed, distributed, or otherwise made available by the Company, including any such device designed to be affixed to a cricket bat for the purpose of capturing, processing, and transmitting data related to batting performance, swing mechanics, or related analytics. Only Sensors purchased directly from the Company or through its authorised distributors or resellers shall be recognised for the purposes of eligibility under these Terms.

“Masterclass” shall mean and refer to a single, standalone online course or instructional module made available by the Company through its dedicated platform located at http://masterclass.str8bat.com (the “Masterclass Platform”), which provides users with curated educational content focused on cricket training, technique improvement, and other relevant themes, as determined by the Company from time to time.

MASTER CLASS ACCESS - ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS

Subject to the conditions set forth herein, each individual who is the verified User of the Str8bat Sensor shall be entitled to avail complimentary access to one (1) master class from within the Masterclass Program available on the App and the Website.

The entitlement to access the one (1) master class shall accrue strictly on a per-Sensor basis, meaning that each Str8bat Sensor unit shall entitle the verified User to access one (1) distinct master class available within the Masterclass Program without any additional charges.

If the User owns multiple Str8bat Sensors, the User shall be entitled to a corresponding number of Masterclasses. This is subject to verification by the Company, in accordance with the condition stipulated under Clause 3 of these Terms and Conditions.

The complimentary Masterclass must be claimed and activated via the Masterclass Platform by following the Company’s designated process. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • User registration
  • Proof of Sensor ownership (e.g., serial numbers, purchase receipts, account linking)
  • Completion of verification procedures as prescribed by the Company

VERIFICATION AND DISCRETION

The Company reserves the right to require reasonable proof of Str8bat Sensor ownership prior to granting access to the complimentary Masterclass. This may include:

  • Sensor serial numbers
  • Invoices
  • Account credentials
  • Any other documents/data as deemed necessary by the Company

The determination of eligibility shall be at the sole discretion of the Company, and such decisions shall be final and binding on the User.

NON-ELIGIBILITY AND PAID ACCESS

Users who do not meet the eligibility criteria under these Terms and Conditions shall not be entitled to complimentary Masterclass access. However, such Users may access the content by paying the applicable fee, in accordance with pricing and terms displayed on the Platform.

This clause does not restrict the Company from offering:

  • Discounts
  • Promotional pricing
  • Trial access
  • Other offers to non-Sensor users, at its discretion

LIMITATION AND RESTRICTION

The access to the Masterclass and corresponding masterclasses granted under Clause 2 is subject to the following restrictions:

  • The content is non-transferable
  • Non-substitutable
  • Non-exchangeable for cash or credit
  • Limited to personal, non-commercial use by the verified Sensor owner

Any attempt to transfer, sell, lease, sublicense, or assign the benefit under Clause 2 to any third party shall be considered a material breach and will render the benefit null and void.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or revoke access to any complimentary Masterclass without liability if it suspects:

  • Misuse
  • Fraud
  • Misrepresentation
  • Breach of these Terms

MODIFICATIONS AND RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without liability, to:

  • Modify, withdraw or discontinue the Masterclass or complimentary benefit
  • Amend or replace the terms, eligibility criteria, or verification process
  • Substitute the benefit with an equivalent offering

Any changes shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Company website or Masterclass Platform. Continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of the revised terms.

Users shall not copy, modify, distribute, display, perform, or create derivative works from the content hosted on the Platform, unless explicitly allowed. Usage must comply with legal and contractual terms.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Masterclass and complimentary masterclasses offered under this Program shall not be construed as:

  • A warranty
  • A contractual entitlement
  • An after-sale service obligation related to the Sensor or other products

This clause does not affect the Company’s obligations related to any paid Masterclass accessed through the Platform.

All intellectual property, course content, trademarks, instructional material, and related data available on the Platform (whether complimentary or paid) remain the exclusive property of the Company or its licensors. No license or right is granted beyond personal access for private use.
